*Warm Greetings!*
With pleasure, we heartily invite you to contribute a high quality research
paper, with futuristic insights both in the Indian as well as global
contexts, to an edited volume (with ISBN) titled *Reference Management
Tools for Researchers.*
*Objectives of the Book*
While doing a Ph. D programme or for that matter any research, one will
need to collect, read and review a large body of literature and information
in various formats. Keeping track of the literature is backbreaking and
would demand a substantial time of one’s research tenure. Modern software
like Reference Management Tools have made this task incredibly easy and
time-saving. These tools help scholars create and manage their lists online
as well as off-line. Most tools are designed to organize citations into
specific formats for the preparation of manuscripts and bibliographies.
Many search tools provide for direct downloading of references into
reference management tools. An efficient reference management workflow,
obviously, simplifies the academic writing process.
This Book will focus on:
-
Practical and efficient reference management softwares
-
Choosing of a reference manager
-
Building up of your reference library
-
Sharing references with colleagues
This book will help one develop the skills necessary to use almost all
reference management software smoothly and efficiently for your research
work.
