The theme of the Conference will be “ IT application in academic libraries : new trends and oppurtunities ”. A number of leading professionals from India have agreed to be resource persons and to talk on important aspects of IT application. The Conference will also have a session to enable select number of participants to present case studies on successful and innovative IT applications in their respective libraries. The Conference is aimed at LIS professionals in universities, colleges and other institutions of higher learning. Researchers and postgraduates students of library and information science too will find the Conference interesting and useful.
