I have been interacting with the children and teachers of this school for
the disabled for some time now and felt that a library culture has been
created there. So much so that they have taken the decision to take on a
librarian!
I do hope someone good will feel that this is a meaningful cause to take
up.

· Maintain a friendly and inviting learning environment
· Manage the library facility to provide flexible access to the
resources at the point of need
· Provide instruction for staff, students and teachers on search
strategies
· Promote the enjoyment of reading
· Coordinate and plan the development of long range/strategic
library goals and applications
Maintain, assist, and implement instruction as a resource person to staff,
teachers and students
· Collaborate with staff regarding the curriculum development and
support
Coordinate a collection of materials which support the methodologies,
philosophies and innovations
· which suit the needs of the individual, schools and District
office
· Provide for video distribution through closed circuit and
satellite programming
· Perform related duties as required
