Melissa of OSI and UNESCO had recognised his worth and invited him to some conferences and workshops. I always thought he was very good in his work. In fact, I had to face some harsh comments from other Indian colleagues when I mentioned in a discussion list that NCSI was a good training centre for young Indian librarians. He is no more. Why should such an accomplished expert die when he has so much more to give to the rest of us, I do not understand. Nature's ways are inscrutable.
