A new open source search engine has come to being called NUTCH.The idea behind Nutch is to create an open-source web search engine where everything is exposed. In contrast, other search engines may be secretive about how they rank pages (implication: Google) or take payment to include sites (implication: all the other major search engines that do paid inclusion).
