Informatics Studies focuses on interdisciplinary and international perspectives on Informatics. Priority areas are studies on ICT application for narrowing the digital divide, language technology for regional languages, which is crucial for Asian and African countries for reaching the un-reached. Informatics Studies has also covered the works of scientists who laid foundations Information Science like Patrick R Penland and Earnest J Mann, Allan Bromeley etc with selected papers by them and also special issues on Eugene Garfield and Stephen Hawking within four years of the journal’s forays into LIS research publishing. As per revised schedule 'Informatics Studies' January -March 2018 will be a special issue on Prof. S R Ranganathan; whose works form the foundation of the science of Information Management. Scholars are requested to contribute papers on SR Ranganathan’s life and work correlating with the current developments in the KM scenario for the special issue on Prof. S R Ranganathan. Articles can be uploaded at informaticsstudies.in or can be e-mailed to the editor@informaticsstudies.in as MS Word file attachment. Submissions up to 15th November 2018 will be considered for publication in the special issue on Prof. S R Ranganathan. Dr. R..
