Dear Professional colleagues, I am writing to get views of this group on the pressing issues that Indian Libraries and Library Users are facing. It is a good idea to look into them with more focus to improve the functioning of our libraries in providing the services to the users. We constantly hear the decline in the Users coming to the libraries. We need to identify the reasons. There may be many reasons. We may have to restructure our libraries and also the way we are working now. It is time we identify the core issues that the libraries need to concentrate on from the Library Users point of view.
