Dear Francis:
Yours is one of the best libraries in the country for S&T and yet you need
to request others for help. This is a good reason for everyone of the
researchers (and institutions) adopting open access!

Yes, Sir, I do agree with you about our library's rich collection. Having said that, we all are aware of the fact that no library in the world can ever aspire to be self sufficient in meeting every need of its users. OA is a possible solution in overcoming the access barrier with respect to publications that are born digital and those that have been digitized. We still need to depend on the ILL for such of those publications that are yet to be digitized and where access barrier exists due to lack of subscription.
