The main objective of this workshop is to help research degree students in these aspects and other related areas. The two-day workshop will focus on several key aspects of research such as choosing a research problem, adopting appropriate research strategy and method, carrying out research work, writing conference / journal papers, best practices in thesis writing, avoiding plagiarism in writing and research, and effective presentation. This workshop will also cover effective research supervision, strategies and tips for gaining competitive grants. Furthermore, it will also facilitate interactions and inspire collaborations between students and academics across institutions with similar research interests.
