I too join the LIS community in congratulating Dr. Konnur. He has done great
deal of significant work even in his previous assignments; especially the
one I benefited most was his Librarianship at Goa University. At Goa
University he introduced the faculty and researchers regarding e-resources
and took pains in their awareness amongst the scholarly community.
I also had good fortune to work with him for few ibrary Automation projects,
the most noteworthy amongst them in the project for Indian Navy and National
Center for Antarctic Studies.
My special appreciation for Dr. Konnur is for his interdisciplinary vision
and his HR skills for getting the work done from the staff. I could foresee
the interface between the Computer Science and LIS only because of him.
I wish him all the best for his future endeavors!!!
