giving hyperliks can not be a violation of copyright. u r directing but
not using / copying the intellectual property of the author. if it is so,
we need to question about the catalogues, reviews and what not as part of
copyright.
as a matter of fact, u can copy for fair use and should be quoted, which
becomes the reseach. if u lift word to word and do not quote it becomes
plagiarizm.
i think we should not think too much about all these problems.

And, moreover such hypertext links take the user to the supposed source which is already in public domain.
Directing or pointing at such a source will never be a violation of copy right act.
