The programme will give the participants sound overview of bibliometric methods, performance indicators and tools & techniques related to bibliometric analysis and mapping. It will provide awareness about the most commonly used data base, how to build -up relevant indicators and how to interpret the data. Special emphasis will be given to indicators used in research evaluation.   Resource Persons The lecturers are prominent researchers, scientists/professors in the field of bibliometrics. They also have an extensive experience with the application of bibliometric analysis in a research evaluation.
