Fellow Professionals Our profession has contributed tremendously to almost every educational endeavour. However, our school libraries have not recieved the treatment that they deserved. Our union govt. is launching various mass education programmes like Sarva Shikhsha Abhiyan/ Rashtriya Saksharta Mission/ TLC etc. However, least consideration is given to the libraries in institutions who carry forward these programmes. I request all of you to advocate a programme for libraries which i suggest should be named Sarva Pustakalia Abhiyan. Hope you all start you efforts from today onwards.
