This makes it easier for machines to automatically process and integrate information. XML's ability to define customized tags and RDF's flexible approach to represent data could be exploited to build Semantic Web. In extension to this several standard Ontologies are used. Web Ontology Language(OWL) is one such kind of Ontology.
