One can also access the UGC-Info net online access journals. Prof P.Ishwar Bhat, Acting Vice Chancellor Inaugurated the virtual Zone, and he said "It is a big leap by the University library for having launched its own website. Students, research scholars and lecturers will be benefited through this website", he was speaking after inaugurating the virtual zone of Mysore University Library. The launch of this website will help many students in their research, information gathered such websites will be of great use to the students and the teaching faculty. Students should use more the facility in their endeavor towards success�, he added. On this occasion the University library website was inaugurated by journalist, Rajashekar Koti. Inaugurating the website, he said, "The Library is like a brain to any university or institution. University grant commission has been granting crores for the development of libraries in various universities".Mysore University Registrar B.G .Hosmat, I.F.S, launched the Data Base and University Finance Officer M.K.Sannaswamy released the "Outline of Library Website and Database" on this occasion.
