Upto 5th pay commssion Documentation Officer was in UGC pay scales but unfortunately in UGC 6th Pay commission, the Documentation Officer hasn't been enlisted. Some state universities are not treating them at par with Assist. Librarians now. It is a great hurdle for them. Plz take this thing into consideration while submitting the proposal.
