Dear Colleagues, Promotion of Library Automation and Networking in North-Eastern Region (PLANNER) is a bi-annual convention with a special focus to uplift academic libraries in the North-Eastern region, India in the aspect of library automation and networking.The event is jointly organized by INFLIBNET Centre along with the universities located in the respective North-Eastern States. 10th PLANNER -2016 is being organised by INFLIBNET Centre in collaboration with North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU), Shillong, Meghalaya during 9th-11th November, 2016 at NEHU, Shillong, Meghalaya. The Main Theme of the Convention is * "Disruptive Innovations for Libraries: Adopt, Adapt and Evolve"Sub Theme-I :Technologies for Libraries* o Mobile Technologies o E-Learning o Web and Semantic Technologies o Technology Disaster Response and Recovery Planning *Sub Theme-II : Library Management: Collections and Human Resources* o Digital Collections, Curations and Preservations o Open Access Resources o Skills Development and Competency Management o Redefining Policies: IPR, Access, Archival and Usage o Issues and Challenges in Library Automation in North East Region *Sub Theme-III: Innovative Services* o Library as a space o Analytics and Assessment o Use of Social Media o Case Studies *Call for Papers* Programme Committee solicits research and technical papers, case studies, technology updates, etc. related to the theme and sub-themes of the conference. The paper submitted should have been neither published anywhere not kept under consideration for publication.
