IIT Delhi Library system is the early adapter of new and emerging technologies. Many of the libraries and library professionals of the country are taking advantage of our expertise and practices. The Central Library is fully computerized using state of the art Integrated Library Management System and successfully running the RFID system from the last ten years. Users have the freedom to self-Check-In or Check-Out round the clock using its RFID system as it remains open round the clock. We have our own DSpace based Institutional Repository, and all our theses have been digitized and made accessible through IR or NDLI or WebOPAC platform. We are also providing eNewsClippings, Faculty Profiling System (RIM), Faculty Publications, etc. The website has been developed In-House with Drupal which provides a user-centric approach to the Website based Library Resources, Services, and Products.  IIT Delhi is one of the top institutions of the country and IoE, having a great library system; has been declared as the National Resource Centre to offer the ARPIT in Library and Information Sciences (Online MOOCs for whole India). The Central Library IIT Delhi is looking for young, enthusiastic and dynamic postgraduates with minimum First Division in Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) or equivalent, to work as Library Intern. The applicant must have passed MLIS or equivalent examination either only in the year 2018 or 2019. However, those who are expecting MLIS final mark sheet as above by the day of Test/Interview may also apply. Candidates who passed the MLIS or equivalent examination before 2018 need not apply. Period of Internship | The internship position is purely on a temporary basis. The internship will initially be offered for six months and based on performance; it may be extended for another period of six months.
