Dr. R. Guruprasad, Scientist, Centre for Civil Aircraft Design and Development, CSIR-National Aerospace Laboratories, Bangalore, has been elected as 'Fellow of the Engineering Council (FERC)' from the Open Association of Research Society, USA (Global Journals Inc.,). This honor has been bestowed on him for his exceptional achievements in pursuit of advanced studies and research in the Aerospace Domain and his remarkable contributions to Engineering Research. Dr. Guruprasad holds a Ph.D. degree from the Department of Studies (DOS), Library and Information Science, University of Mysore and MLIS from Annamalai University. Dr. Guruprasad's research interests are: (a) Studying the Use Patterns of Electronic Information Resources and (b) Digital Content Management of aircraft data. He has more than 28 international journal publications, two books, several book chapters and is on the Editorial Board and Reviewer of several international journals in the broad domain of Information Science and Technology.
