Libraries are being subjected to significant pressures from the information revolution which forces the librarians to adapt marketing strategy to attract more users. The challenges of raising cost, the rapid growth of materials, budget cuts, competition by database vendors, networking demands and complexity of information requirements which is driving library professions to adapt marketing for better management of Library and Information centre. Our study mainly deals with the needs, objectives, best practices, practical solution and the challenges in Marketing of library products and services in the 21st century.
