A “Walk-in-interview” will be held on 13 July, 2011 at 11.30 a.m.in Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata for recruitment of 1(one)purely temporary Project Assistant to work full time in the internally funded project entitled “Reclassification of books under Sociology” in the Library, Documentation and Information Science Division of the Institute. Qualification : Essential: A consistently good academic record with Masters degree in Library & Information Science or its equivalent from a recognized University/Institute. Desirable: Familiarity with LibSys. Pay : Rs.11,700/- per month (Rs.9,000/- plus HRA as per ISI rules) Tenure of appointment : The appointment will be offered up to 31 March 2012. Age : Should not exceed 35 years as on 01 July 2011 with usual relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Women and Physically Handicapped and Extraordinary candidates.
