As you know at present by default all the category of patrons can either place purchase suggestions or not via opac but many educational institutes only allow purchase suggestion by the faculty or some specific category of users. Similarly in public and other libraries children’s may not be allowed for purchase suggestions or lower level of non technical/teaching staffs in special libraries. Please note that this is the correct method for getting the new feature in Koha so that amount once paid the benefit will reach globally. I know many of the good features has been added by Koha vendors on huge payment basis specially by Indian government libraries but benefit never came to public domain, which is against the open source ethics in my view. Please approach your vendor to make such code public if you have already paid for it.
