Dear all, Microsoft has killed Internet Explorer on the Mac. The software giant will end support for it at the end of the year (i.e.in 13 days) and will make no additional security or performance updates available from that point. From 31 January coming up, Internet Explorer for the Mac will no longer be available for download from Microsoft. A statement from the company read: "On June 2003, the Microsoft Macintosh Business Unit announced that Internet Explorer for Mac would undergo no further development, and support would cease in 2005." It seems Microsoft is sticking to that. It suggests instead that Mac users may want to migrate to "more recent Web browsing technologies", such as Safari.
