Leveraging the approaches typified by Web 2.0's principles and technology offers library profession many opportunities to transform libraries from venerated age-old institutions to agile ones. The Conference will be a forum for discussing the emerging processes, technologies and paradigms of the library profession in the backdrop of the new technology of Web 2.0 and efforts to integrate the same into the library services. This two-day conference will ponder over the issues related to Web 2.0 technologies and highlight the initiatives and case studies towards deploying them for making libraries contemporary and user centred. The paper must be a original contribution based on research, survey and case studies. General presentations and papers giving just historical background are not encouraged. The paper should accompany with an informative abstract (not more than 150 words) and key words. The paper shall not be more than 10 pages and the font size is to be 12 in Times New Roman.
