Dear Colleagues, Its unfortunate that even passing through NET/KSET and Getting A valid PH.D there are very few vacancies coming out specially in Karnataka recently KPSC called Asst Prof. Posts in many subjects except Librarian even though there are lots of vacant post available. In second time notification few more subjects added because of the pressure from the candidates and associations, unfortunately having strongest association than any other subjects Library association are not even raised single point with Higher education department to fill up the librarian posts. Along with few friends we met officials of the Higher education we got the answer as " we called very essential posts now in next notifications we will call leftout subject posts" but in the second notification they again left librarians. Its wondering Degree college librarian association or state library association are not even discussed about the negligence in filling librarian posts in degree colleges. At least now act on this dear office bearers of the association because any representation from the association counts rather than individual approach.
