Technology Conclave (LTC2021) – eScience and Digital Libraries – Curtain-raiser Lecture – Nov 6, 2020, 11AM-12:30PM
Dear Members of the LIS Community LTC2021 – the 5th Library Technology Conclave, is being launched on 6th November with a pre-conclave curtain-raiser lecture, in an entirely new and unique format to fit into the virtual conference model. The event is spread across a range of pre-conclave and conclave events, from November 2020 through January 2021. The theme of the Conclave is “eScience and Digital Libraries”. eScience is where data sciences meet the science. It is all about the data sciences as applied to scientific research. It is the congruence of four domains – scientific research, computational sciences, data sciences and digital libraries – that promotes data intensive collaborative research across scientific disciplines and communities. It will be an exciting program where scientists, information & data scientists and the IT & Digital Library professionals will be coming together to interact.
