Dear Friends I am happy to let you know that the networking/consortium version of our library automation and networking software, NewGenLib, has now been installed at the Bangalore University on a trial basis. The plan is to sign an MOU with Bangalore Univ which will allow them free trial use for 6 months We have already conducted a one-week training programme for them at site. The university library network's web OPAC may be seen either via the university's web site or directly at http://202.141.128 125:8080/newgenlibctxt/index.jsp. The data for some of the libraries in the network has still be imported into the NewGenLib MARC-21 structures. Best regards.
