Hi all, LIBRARY OF THE FRENCH INSTITUTE OF PONDICHERRY Among the resources that the French Institute of Pondicherry (FIP) offers to the researcher or visitor is an extensive collection of documents consisting of: · 55 000 books · 800 journals of which over 300 are received currently · 320 microfilms · 160 videocassettes · 8 600 manuscripts on palm-leaf · 1 144 transcripts of manuscripts on paper relating to three specialized domains: Indology, Social Sciences and Ecology, within the context of South Asia and more particularly of India.
