Dear Professionals, As I am taking initiative to computerize my library I am in need of information about how to get in touch with the library software vendor and other issues related to training and follow up. However, I am not aware of any such institutions/agencies that prvode service regard to the same. Alternatively, I have come accross a number of open source softwares such as KOHA, GREEN STONE etc. But I am finding it difficult to download the software and proceed further process as I am not technically sound enough. How do I go ahead with it? Can a freely available software be helpful to my situation? Please advice and educate me on the same. If you provide contact information of such Agencies which are locally available (Bangalore/Mysore), that would be a great help. I look forward with anticipation.
