
The countdown for the AIKM 2024, jointly organized by the Sarada Ranganathan Endowment in association with the India International Centre and the University of Delhi, to commemorate the centenary year of Dr. Ranganathan entering the library profession has begun. The AIKM2024, AI and Knowledge Management: Academia-Industry Summit will begin at the India International Centre, New Delhi on 12th August (Dr. SRR’s official birthdate) with two pre-conference tutorials. This will be followed by a formal inaugural function at the convention hall, Vice-Regal Lodge, University of Delhi, Delhi 110007 at 4.00PM. Prof. Yogesh Singh, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Delhi will preside; Shri Shyam Saran former Foreign Secretary, Govt. of India and President of India International Centre will be the chief Guest; Dr. Sanghamitra Bandyopadhyay, Director of Indian Statistical Institute, will deliver the keynote address. The technical sessions will begin at 9.30 am at the Seminar Hall, India International Centre on 13th August. The organizers welcome LIS professionals to register and attend the conference and the pre-conference tutorials.
