Plagiarism About Speaker: Hema Wesley; Hema Wesley is presently ‘Consultant Editor’ at the Indian Academy of Sciences, Bangalore -- science publishers of repute. She began her career in publishing when in 1977 she joined the Macmillan India Company where the effective training and experience in typesetting techniques determined her career in publishing. She was later ’ Technical Editor’ for a medical Journal before joining the Academy in 1990. Since 2008 as ‘Executive Editor’ she has been in-charge of the production and the intrinsic challenges of bringing out ten journals comprising science content. The Academy’s collaboration with Springer and the inherent impact of demanding global issues in science publishing has been a challenge and a learning experience. Mr. I.H.
