DRTC Seminar on OpenURL accessing Referenced Resources

College Post Bangalore-560059 SEMINAR On OpenURL for accessing Referenced Resources OpenURL is a mechanism for transporting metadata and identifiers describing a publication, for the purpose of context sensitive linking. OpenURL standard is designed to support mediated linking from information resources (sources) to library services (targets). It works with Link Resolver System to facilitate seamless access to the referenced resource. In this seminar I propose to discuss the concept of OpenURL, and its significance. The seminar will also give a demo of Link Resolver System and demonstrate OpenURL through open source tools. Speaker : Mohd Ehtesham ADIS 2nd year.
