Arun ------ The Times Foundation has been actively involved in spearheading initiatives in women's empowerment, education, health and self-development and in facilitating heightened visibility of development issues through the print and electronic media. We act as a point of convergence for government agencies, NGO's, the corporate sector and citizens to facilitate partnerships and enable the harnessing of synergies to press for policy level changes and for holistic development. The Times foundation website is being developed into a gateway for information on development issues, interventions , success stories and funding opportunities. It would acts as a virtual meeting point for the stakeholders in development-the funding agencies, grassroots organizations, advocacy agencies and volunteers and aims at generating awareness, encouraging dialogue and enabling partnerships.
