I wish to know if Malaysian Universities degrees are recognized and accepted by UGC and other statutory bodies in India. university of Malay ( http://www.um.edu.my/) is of one of the oldest university in Malaysia and fully funded by Government of Malaysia. If offers masters and Ph.D. Degrees in Library Science. Dear Naikal
I think this depends on the individual universities who have their own
equivalence norms.
As fer as employment is concerned there should not be any problem. Many of
the Indian experts have gone their as Faculty.
We are not aware if anyone having degree from University of Malay have been
rejected.
