Respected forum members, The UGC has to fill up the post of Director, INFLIBNET Centre, Ahmedabad an InterUniversity Centre of UGC on a fixed salary of Rs.75,000/- along with a Special Allowance of Rs.5000/- per month plus allowances and other benefits as per the terms and conditions for the post of Vice-Chancellors issued by the Commission. The Director of the INFLIBNET is an executive authority of the Centre. The term of appointment will be for a period of five years or till he/she attains the age of sixty-five years,whichever is earlier. The term can be renewed for a further period of five year. As per MOAand Rules governing the INFLIBNET Centre, the Director will be appointed by the President of the Council on the recommendations of a Search Committee. For the post of Director, a person should have a sound administrative acumen besides having academic distinction. He/she should be person with vision and foresight to provide necessary leadership to the Centre.
