This is indeed a Nobel gesture for the Librarians from a Librarian. As a user of NewGenLib (http://opac.sdmimd.net) from past 1year, I feel this is one of the most robust and quality Integrated Library System (ILS) in the Indian ILS Products. The adherence to the international standards, the systematic workflow, interoperability standards and integration level of NewGenLib has brought best practices in the library administration. As mentioned by Dr. Francis Jaykanth, NewGenLib is true integrated software. It aims at integrating the concept of Library Automation, Institutional Repository and Digital Library and made librarians’ job easy. NewGenLib – a product developed by the able guidance of a Librarian, who is an authority in the area of library administration and library automation is the best of its kind.
