Name does matter so do the content and professional spirit to serve the society. I strongly suggest that a Dept.of LIS in the country should take immediate steps to organise a national (or even international) seminar on this topic and formulate recommendations for the UGC for proper implementation. We did that in the University of Delhi in 1977 and this process should be continued. I can assure every one my fullest support for this urgent need. I shall look forward hearing more in this regard.
