User empowerment is the main motto of library management through IT. 8. Management role of library administrations for user empowerment in the college libraries. 9. Library Automation, Internet faculties, Mobile services and online OPAC are the main thrust area for user empowerment in the college libraries. 10. User empowerment through Its in the college libraries 11. Social role of Information Technologies (IT) in the college libraries 12. Community and Indigenous user empowerment system through IT. 13. Empirical issues of user empowerment. 14. State of ICT/IT application for user empowerment in college library service. Target Audience: Apart from LIS professionals, teachers, researchers, students, scientists, social scientists, IT specialists along with information users from different disciplines and activities are expected to participate and render their experiences and suggestions on the seminar topic.
