Dear LIS Professionals, We have been talking about repositioning the LIS profession for a while now. Here is an opportunity for the profession to retool itself with some of the emerging tools and technologies that are redrawing the boundaries of the field. Data Mining is one such  area and we have Prof. Ian Witten who is familiar to the LIS profession through his Greenstone Digital Library software to give a tutorial on the topic “Data Mining with Weka” at the ICADL 2013.
