Hello
My view is to note the found accession numbers and then trace the missing
ones again and again. Excel may help you a lot and if you want to
cross-check or verify with your database Koha then it must be accurate
having entry of all the books, etc.

Hello Manoj,
Since the books are barcoded, use a barcode scanner (purchase a high-range
wireless device). Currently, we are using -
Scanner. HSN: 8471
1452g_1d Honeywell barcode reader.
10meter radio range, instant data transfer via Cradle to USB.
Approximately 2,000 records memory for out of range.
My experience says you can complete 10,000 books in 5 working days by a
single person.
And, Koha supports.
Best wishes,

Hello Manoj,
Just another suggestion which you may give a try for scanning barcode of
books.
I hope you and your staff may be using an android based smartphone which
can be used as a barcode scanner. There are several inventory management
softwares available which can easily scan the barcode label and it can be
exported to a csv sheet for further processing in your library software or
a excel sheet.
You can try the app Stock Count (
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sterling.stockcount) and
prepare shelf wise list of scanned barcodes.
Its just an idea and fellow professionals doing stock verification can
suggest more.

Yes, Mr Dinesh. Good one. This 'zero' the dependency on Barcode Scanner and
investment. Further, the deployment of manpower can be scalable.
Thanks and Regards,
Sunil
