ADMISSION NOTIFICATION – 2010 for Post-Graduate Diploma in Digital Information Management (PGDDIM)  offered by Department of Library & Information Science, Osmania University, Hyderabad ABOUT THE COURSE: In the coming years, every University/Institution/Industry is expected to go for their digital libraries/institutional repositories.  The programmes offered by the existing LIS Schools are providing theoretical background and concepts largely.  The PGDDIM course aims at creating trained personnel, who can design, develop and implement Digital Libraries and Institutional Repositories.  Osmania University is the first one to propose a full time program to develop required personnel in design, development and managing DLs and digital information resources. ELIGIBILITY: Candidates who have passed or appeared in final year of MLISc or an equivalent course with atleast 55% marks are eligible.
