Dear LIS Professionals,     One statement often being observed for the post of Assistant Librarian in the University Library position or in other National Technical/Management Institutions that for the post of Assistant Librarian   "Qualifying in the national –level test conducted for the purpose by the UGC or any other agency approved by the UGC"   I wish to kindly know whether the candidate who has cleared SET is also eligible for applying for the such post under the clause mentioned above.
