Dear Professional Colleagues, We are indeed very happy to inform you that the Central University of Karnataka, Gulbarga is going to host and organize National Conference on “Integrating ICT in Academic Libraries: Making a Difference in Knowledge Age” during August 12 – 13, 2014 in Gulbarga, India. The National Conference 2014 is an National event and is expected to bring together over 500 delegates from all over India including library science, digital libraries, computer science, and knowledge organization. The theme of the conference is divided into 7 sessions such as (1) Application of ICT in Academic Libraries, (2) Security Issues, (3) Technologies for Sustainability, (4) Networking of Management Libraries, (5) Knowledge Management, (6) Resources & Services, (7) Human Resources Management. Last Date of Final Paper Submission : 05/07/2014 Intimation of Acceptance : 08/07/2014 Authors are invited to submit abstract/full papers to the specified e-mail: librariancuk@gmail.com All the papers must follow the American Psychological Association (APA) format and should not exceed more than seven pages. Paper to be submitted should not be previously published in other conference/Journal. All the papers will be reviewed by the technical committee and the corresponding author of selected paper will be intimated through e-mail. PROCEEDING PUBLICATION Abstract (about 300 words and 4 to 5 keywords) of the papers will be published in the conference proceedings. Selected papers will be published in book format with ISBN no. This conference is useful to all mainly researchers, LIS students, faculty and Librarians. It is a great platform for all participants across the country to share their knowledge, expertise and experience.
