In the recently announced Educationexpo TV - 'Technology Leadership Awards - 2013' (EET-CRS - a National Research Branding Company), Dr R Guruprasad of the Knowledgement and Technology Management Division, CSIR-National Aerospace Laboratories, Bangalore has been awarded the 'Excellence in Technology Research'. The evaluation criteria followed by the CRS research team led by Dr D C Singh, Chief Advisor Research were based on parameters like research papers as first author, review and articles published, books and chapters written as first author and edited, PI ship of projects, seminar organized, invited talks given, Radio/TV talks, popular articles published, patent filed and consultancy project undertaken. Dr R Guruprasad would be receiving the award in NOIDA (DELHI, NCR) late January 2014 or early February 2014. Dr R Guruprasad did his MLIS from the Annamalai University and his Ph.D. from the Department of Studies in Library and Information Science, University of Mysore.
