Dear LIS Students', Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata Admission Notice :Session :2008-2009 Apllications r invited for following programmes 1. 2 Year Master of Science (M.S.) in Lib. & Info.Sc. :- 3 Year Bachelor's degree in any discipline.The candidate must have secured at least 60% marks in the Bachelor's degree.Stipend Only Rs. 1,200/- per month (offered in Bangalore) 2. Junior Research Fellowship in Lib. & Info. Sc. :- A good academic record with (i) ADIS from ISI OR (ii) AIS from NISCAIR OR (iii)Master's degree in Library and Information Science with at least 55% marks in undergraduate & postgraduate degree programmes. Fellowship amount Rs. 8,000/- per month.(offered in Bangalore) N.B. :- From the last 2 consecutive year M.Lib.I.Sc. student selected for this JRF.
