Dear Professionals, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has constituted a high level Committee to revamp its school library systems spread all over the country (consisting of more than 1000 schools) as per the needs of 21st century learners. The Committee has proposed an Information and Media Literacy (IML) Curriculum as part of the new Library Policy along with so many other changes. The IML curriculums implemented in schools in other countries are under study to develop a basic document. Your comments, suggestions and ideas are welcomed. Thanks and regards S.L.Faisal Librarian Kendriya Vidyalaya, Pattom Thiruvananthapuram-695 004 Kerala, India Ph.09447699724 & Moderator, KV Librarians' Network (http://kvlibrarians.grou.ps/) -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean.
