Dear Professionals, I would like to get some clarity on the API scores required for the DIRECT RECRUITMENT of Deputy Librarian and Librarian posts in universities. In APPENDIX-III: TABLE VII (APIs and proposed scores developed by UGC for adoption of PBAS for Direct Appointment / Career Advancement Scheme (CAS) promotions applicable to Librarian (University) Deputy Librarian and Asstt. Librarian/College Librarian) The following Tables are given: Category I: Procurement, organisation, and delivery of knowledge and information through Library services Category II: Co-Curricular, Extension and Professional Development related activities Category III: Research and Academic contributions In APPENDIX-III: TABLE VIII(c) (MINIMUM APIS AND OTHER NORMS FOR THE DIRECT RECRUITMENT OF LIBRARIAN POSITIONS IN UNIVERSITY DEPARTMENTS/COLLEGES) ( TO BE CONSIDERED ALONG WITH OTHER SPECIFIED ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS STIPULATED IN THIS UGC REGULATION) column2/row2 the API Score (Research and Academic Contribution -- Category III) only is mentioned where the Consolidated API score requirement is 300 points for Deputy Librarian and 400 points for Librarian (University).
