Dear Professional Colleagues,   Nitte Mahalinga Adyanthaya Memorial Institute of Technology (NMAMIT), Nitte, Karkala  has organized a 3-Day National Workshop On ‘Research Methodologies & Effective Publication Practices’ during July 25- 27, 2012. TARGET GROUP The workshop is primarily meant for all research scholars working in different fields in academia, industries, research labs, libraries and information centers. The number of participants is limited to 50 (Fifty only) and selection is on the basis of ‘first come first served’. TOPICS COVERED 1. Selection of research problem, research methodology 2. Data analysis, statistical techniques, testing of hypothesis etc 3. Development of mathematical and statistical models, use of SPSS package 4. Presentation of research output and reference management 5. Publishing papers in journals - technical writing 6. Writing Thesis / Dissertations, 7. Hands on sessions exploring LATEX RESOURCE PERSONS Experts from Universities, IISc, NITs, ISI will train and guide the participants during the workshop.   The programme includes hands-on-experience sessions in computer labs and demonstrations as well.
