I was shocked and felt sorry to learn that Prof. Pangannaya expired on 1-10-2006. He was an eminent librarian at Poornaprajna college when I was a student there (1967-69).He was my affectionate teacher in Univ.of mysore in 1971-72. Prof.Pangannaya was a teacher of par excellence, a good dramatist & yakshagana artist. He has efficiently managed his role in K.S.O.S. He was humane in nature and treated his students equally.Prof.Pangannaya's death is a great loss to our Profession.
