NATIONAL SEMINAR ON DEVELOPMENT OP PUBLIC LIBRARIES IN INDIACALL FOR PAPERS The City Granthalaya Samstha, Hyderabad is organizing a 3day i.e. 28 feb-2 Mar 2005 on NATIONAL SEMINAR ON DEVELOPMENT OP PUBLIC LIBRARIES IN INDIA. The sub themes are Use of IT in public libraries Impact studies such as Library legislation, RRRLF. Conservation, Preservation , Computerisation and digitization in public libraries Continuing education programs Generation of resources Development of infrastructure coordination and resource sharing among public libraries and other libraries Modernisation of public libraries Any other related / relevant topic All the professionals are requested to contribute a paper on any of the sub themes. The contributors are also requested to present their experiences and case studies, which will go a long way in sharing the knowledge as well as development of the public libraries in India. They are also requested to restrict the the paper to 3000 words. The papers may please be sent both hard copy and soft copy on or before 20 Feb 2005 to Mrs. M .Alivelu, Secretary, City Granthalaya Samstha, Ashoknagar, HYDERABAD- 500020 You may also send softcopy to naglaxman@yahoo.com The organizers are planning to bring out the papers in the book form, therefore, if u can send the paper with in the date, it will be possible to include them in the book.
